The town of Savannah has an elegant historic district with interesting architecture and charm. The HLC Hotels group own several inns in this area. These intimate Savannah bed and breakfast establishments have won awards and they offer guests a richer experience, away from large, impersonal hotels. The Gastonian is made up of two adjacent buildings, built in an Italian Regency style. This Savannah bed and breakfast has been awarded 4 Diamonds and its 17 guest rooms have been designed for comfortable living. Each guest room has a working fireplace, cable TV and DVD player and some rooms have whirlpool baths. Complimentary tea, hors d'oevres and wine are served every afternoon. Desserts and beverages are offered in the evenings and the morning newspaper is delivered to the door.
