Gas Scooter

Up until a few years ago, gas scooters were considered pretty silly. I didn't know anyone who use gas motor scooters back then. Every once in awhile, parents would get them as toys for their kids, but usually bicycles were preferable for adults. After all, people thought if you're going to drive on a gas scooter, why not use a motorcycle instead?

Nowadays, needless to say, thinking has changed on the subject compare considerably. Gas scooters are big business. Today, is seems like everyone wants a gas scooter. They come in all kinds of different sizes, from ones that are barely a skateboard with a tiny engine on them to mopeds that are practically motorcycles. All of them, however, share certain advantages over other kinds of transportation.

One of my favorite things about the gas scooter is portability. This, in fact, is one of the reasons that they are so convenient for traveling short distances. If you are not going on the highway and are staying within a couple miles,  a gas scooter can get you there with no problem at all.

Some of them go as fast as 20 miles an hour or even more, so you can eat up 2 mile surprisingly quickly. Once you get there, You don't have to worry about parking. Motorcycles require parking spaces just like cars, but gas scooters can either be picked up or, if they are bigger, rolled into the backyard with ease.

This means that, no matter how crowded your destination, you will find some place to put your vehicle. Contrast that to driving a car in rush hour. Sometimes, when I have to go downtown during rush hour, it takes so long to park my car that is not even worth it. Despite the fact that I save almost 20 minutes off taking the bus, by the time I have found a parking spot and walked to my destination,It has actually wasted time. With a gas scooter, however, you don't need to worry. You can get there quickly and stow your scooter anywhere.

One of the biggest decisions to make when you are looking at motor scooters is what size to get. Personally, I think the bigger the better. The really small ones are fun to ride around on, but they aren't really that practical. If you want to go anywhere, you need something that is more like a motorcycle than like a skateboard. Otherwise, you won't be able to make it on any busy roads.
