There are many good reasons why you won't want to have a bunch of children in your house for a party. You may have a small place, or you may not think it is a wise idea because you have an apartment rather than a house, or you have a lot of breakables that would be in danger. You may also be afraid of the mess, which is also a common problem. It is amazing what a bunch of five or six year olds can find to make a mess with, even when you think you have thought of everything. Don't worry though, you don't have to give up the idea of a party, you just have to find some party places that allow birthday parties.
There are a great number of restaurants that will allow you to host a child's birthday party for a price. It is usually very reasonable, and it saves you from cooking, cleaning up, and having to worry about children breaking things in your home. These party places might be in restaurants like Chuck E. Cheese that are made just for kids, but you will find some other places like Friendly's (which is a very comfortable place for kids) will allow you to book some space to have children in for a celebration. Friendly's specializes in ice cream so that makes it one of the best party places you can find on short notice.
You can find other attractions in your area that can double as party places. You may have a museum that is geared towards children. Those often have party plans and great rates so you can have an affordable and fun party at their facility. You may also find many kid inspired stores that have discovery or playtime as their main theme. These are really great party places, and they usually specialize in doing these gatherings all of the time.
You may also want to think about outdoor venues if you need party places in the summer months. You can use your own backyard, but remember that means children and parents going through your home for the restroom. You can also book a spot at your local park or other community gathering place. Just remember to choose something with a restroom nearby, especially when the children who are coming are very young. If you still come up empty, search for party places in your community with a simple search online.
