New Email Account

I remember when a new email account used to be something exciting. It almost was like a chance to start over. There would be no more spam. There would be no letters from unwanted sources. If I did not want someone to know my new e-mail address, I would just not inform them. I remember when I first got my new Gmail account. I was completely psyched. I felt like I was the last person to get one, and when I finally got around to it, it was a great day. It was so much better than my Microsoft outlook email. Everything functioned perfectly, and had tons of room to store my messages.

That was before the spammers got ahold of my new email account. I have changed e-mail six times by now, and it is time to put a stop to it. I'm simply sick and tired of the whole thing. It seems like I get a new email account every six months to a year. I really shouldn't have to. New email accounts should be like new houses. You should be able to keep them for as long as you wish to.

This time, I have decided to draw the line. It is true that there are plenty of other places that I could get a new email account, but I am sick and tired of having to inform everyone that I know that I have a new email address. I have declared war on the spammers. It will be a long war, and a hard-won fight, but I'm confident that I will come out ahead this time. I have decided to write the ISP of anyone who spams my new email account immediately. I will put on the best spam filters that I can get, and do my best to make sure that my name does not end up on their lists in the first place. If necessary, I will inform my government of 409 messages from Nigeria.

I am sorry that it has come to this, but I cannot go on with the electronic harassment anymore. No I don't want to buy Viagra, or to buy online medication of any form for that matter. I just want to use my new email account in peace. It is too much to ask for people to just leave me alone? It isn't like they send one message every once in a while. My new email account fills up with messages every day from the same spammers!
