When they wear the shirts, others will see the name of your band, and may even ask about you.

You cannot reprint something someone else has made and then sell it for your own profit. Your designs have to be ones that you have made on your own. You can find many great places to sell your own custom printed t shirts, and you may find that you love this as a business to make money on the side. This can lead to other things, and you may find your designs are so popular you can't keep up with the demand.
You do not have to have profit in mind to have your own custom printed t shirts to have a reason to have them made. Some like to have these as a gift when they have a large party like a family or class reunion. You can also have them made up as a give away for promotional purposes, or you could sell them for charity. Whatever the case, find a good printer for your custom printed t shirts, and order a large number for the best price per shirt. Complete your design and triple check for accuracy before you send them off, and then enjoy them once they are done.
